Starting Goalies 10-26-2016 Canadians vs Islanders and Bruins vs Rangers

For all of my fantasy hockey players out there we are going to go over today's starting goalies and my predictions for the game.

The first game tonight is the Montreal Canadians heading to Brooklyn to take on the New York Islanders. In net for the Canadians tonight will be Al Montoya who was confirmed to be the starter.
Al Montoya has had 3 starts this year with a 2-0-1 record with a 1.3 GAA and a .962 SV%

On the other end of the ice Thomas Greiss will be getting the call between the Pipes.
Greiss has started 2 games this year with a 1-1 record with a 2.54 GAA and a .912 %.
These are two of the better backups in the league and Gressis has for sure had the most time of the two with their respective teams. All that aside I look for the Canadians to keep on rolling in this one  with a score of 4-2. Look for Radulov to keep producing now that he has had time to get his NHL legs back. I also Like how Clutterbuck has been playing for the Islanders so far so look for him to put up a point as well.

The next game is the Boston Bruins heading into MSG to take on the New York Rangers.
Although not yet confirmed, it looks like American born 24 year old Zane McIntyre of the University of North Dakota will get his first NHL start giving Rask the night off.
His foe for the night will be the cornerstone of the Rangers organization Henrik Lundqvist. Lundy is 3-2 this year with a 2.42 GAA and a .901 SV%

In this match up I believe that the Bruins will extend their loosing streak to 3 as the Rookie McIntyre fails to win in his first game. One player I really like on the Rangers this year is Mika Zibenajad who they acquired from the Ottawa Senators before the season. Also look for Pasternak to still play like he has been. I predict the rangers will win this one 3-1.

Drop The Puck, Sir!

Welcome to Drop The Puck, Sir!

This is a new Hockey blog that I am starting that will cover everything hockey from what just happened in the NHL to how bad I am beating people in NHL17.

Whats with the name?
Drop The Puck, Sir! is something that I find my self always saying to the refs in the game. In my opinion refs can take a tad too long to drop the puck on a face-off when they are feeling their selfs on a nice power trip. I guess from that you can kind of see what I think about the Refs in the NHL, and Im sure that I will go on a few rants about them here and there.

About us.
We are based in Nashville, Tennessee and are season ticket-holders of your Nashville Predators. This past Tuesday I was able to attend the Predators vs Stars game where the Nashville Predators were unable to hold off Jamie Benn and the Dallas Stars. Being raised in the New Jersey/ Philadelphia area I grew up a New Jersey Devils fan still watch them religiously (even tho there is not much offense during the game.) I Played Junior hockey up north in a few different leagues from the NA3HL to the EHL (before EHL it was the AJHL) and now attend School in Tennessee where I am on the club hockey team living the dream. We are proud supporters of the NHL and own the NHL package where you can watch every NHL game on your Xbox, laptop, or cell phone so we are always keeping up with what is happening in the league.

We hope that you always check in with us to see what we are talking about and what is going on in the NHL and hockey world.

Yours in hockey,
Drop The Puck, Sir!
